I wish I could say that I'm surprised here, but I'd be lying to you. It's becoming clearer and clearer that leftists are desperate to push their agenda du jour on your kids by any means possible, which these days means transgenderism. Trannies. They're so hot right now. They even tried taking a cute anecdote by Chris Hemsworth about his daughter and perverted it into a pro-tranny political propaganda tool. If that was a shot across the bow, the left's new Genderbread Person is an anthrax envelope.

There are two big differences from v2 to the most recent v3: separating romantic & sexual attraction, and the labeling of the continua. I’m also sharing it here with a more simplified version that I encourage folks to use for Powerpoints or to supplement any articles they’re writing, where the additional verbiage isn’t necessary.

Separating romantic and sexual attraction is a more accurate way of describing some of the ways we all experience attraction (or don’t), and it’s also an effort to make the graphic more inclusive of asexual folks. Labels have always been one of the toughest parts of of the genderbread person, because in my versions I’m trying to simultaneously reinforce folks current understandings (or former, or problematic) of gender, while expanding and building upon their understanding, enhancing it, and making it a more honest depiction of the ways we all actually experience gender. Using the language that reinforces problematic and limiting understandings of gender as a means to expand understanding feels a lot like using the master’s tools to deconstruct the master’s house, and in this version I’m trying to get away from as much language as possible.

Now, the website lists itself as "...a comedy show and online resource about snap judgments, identity, and oppression," so there's a good chance they pull the "clown nose on/clown nose off thing" a la Jon Stewart when called out on something. I doubt it though. Looking at his site... it almost seems beyond parody.

This is just how far we've gone. If I'd have written a sketch about a pansexual, gender-fluid gingerbread person to teach children about the "non-binary" nature of gender... it would have bombed. Why? Because comedy, at some level has to be rooted in reality. Yet here we are. Let it be a lesson to anyone who belittles the "slippery slope" argument forevermore. Reality is now sillier than fiction. Speaking of which, have you heard about Tilly the trangsgender teddy bear?
