The conservative media world was in shock this week as the Project Veritas board of directors staged a coup against James O'Keefe. Correct, the same James O'Keefe who IS Project Veritas.

At the crux of the complaint is that O'Keefe allegedly isn't very nice to people. Namely, his employees and Project Veritas donors. One specific donor who was named in the complaint, Dianna Remmers, says it's not true.

Or, at the very least, was a gross misunderstanding.

Remmers explains that in 2021, "at a David Horowitz event where the allegations are that he was extremely rude to one of his donors which happens to be me. And that's completely blown out of proportion. I asked him to take a picture and he, you know, had a lot of people running at him asking for different things and he wasn't thrilled about getting a picture at that moment, but he did."

Remmers goes on to say she and James talked after. AND they became friends. AND she held events for him, including one in Beverly Hills. AND -- this one is key -- she took him as a guest to an event at Mar-A-Lago. Donald Trump's house. This donor who James O'Keefe was allegedly so rude too it requires him to be removed from his company, was so unbothered by it she took O'Keefe to meet Donald Trump.

PROTIP: If you are going to stage a coup, get your facts straight. Otherwise, it makes people think your reasons for staging the coup aren't the actual reasons. Also, and I can't stress enough, it makes you all look like imbeciles.
