Get This: A Man Who Identifies As Transgender Sues Japan To Recognize Their “Lesbian” Marriage
This is what we call “cultural imperialism.”
An American man who is married to a woman wants to have Japan recognize his marriage as one of the first lesbian marriages in that country, even though that’s not legal, and he's a man.
Just to reiterate, a man wants an independent country to officially recognize him as a lesbian.
Elin McCready’s birth name is Eric and identifies as transgender, according to Reduxx.
He also allegedly harassed the owner of a lesbian club for denying him admission to a women-only event in 2019, according to the outlet.
According to his GoFundMe, which is raising funds for his lawsuit in Japan, Elin McCready and Midori Morita have been married for 20 years, originally filing paperwork in Japan. They also have three children.
“We are going to sue the Japanese government to recognize my gender transition and our marriage! Crowdfunding is LIVE! Please share/RT as widely as possible and help both us and the community here! Thank You!” McCready posted on X.
According to the GoFundMe page, McCready filed a petition to change his name and gender in the US in 2018 and changed this information on his passport. However, Japan has refused to do the same. Probably because they live in reality and not some gender fantasy world.
According to Reduxx, McCready attempted to attend a women-only event in 2019 at a lesbian bar in Tokyo, Goldfinger, but was denied entry since he is a man, obviously.
“Wow drama! My friend was djing in the ordinarily transphobic lesbian party and I was on the list and went, then they wouldn’t let me in (bc gross old school transphobia) and my friend refused to dj and got in a screaming match with the organizer,” he wrote on X at the time.
He unmasked his misogyny pretty well in that post if you ask me.
According to the outlet, he pulled a similar stunt a few weeks later.
This is the problem with going along with a person's sense of reality that is based on nothing but delusion and lies. Now this man feels so entitled that he thinks another country must go along with his degenerate lifestyle since the United States did.
He has no respect for Japanese laws and cultures and wants them to play pretend with him and say he is in a lesbian relationship. Why is this even something worth fighting for?
Well, that is not clear.
What is clear is that this man is trying to force his ways onto the rest of the world at the expense of truth. But I guess we should just be happy that Japan seems to be living in reality, unlike some other countries.
Something tells me that after this stunt is over, he'll be lucky if they don't deport him.
