It's clear there is going to be a lot of content created about Democrat Party leader Jasmine Crockett. She provides us with so much derptastic ammo, aided by how journalsimers put her on a pedestal of progressive thought leaders. As you enjoy how we arrange the words in Crockett blog posts, have the following question in the back of your head: Do you think Rep. AOC watches these clips and says, "Oy, what a nincompoop?"

Yesterday, she thought it would be hilarious to mock Greg Abbott, the parapalegic governor of Texas. And she was right... because the Human Rights Committee she was performing in front of thought it was a laugh riot.

I don't do the faux outrage thing, so let's skip the part where we clutch our pearls as we fall backward on our fainting couch. Greg Abbott himself I don't think is outraged. If anything, he's probably having his wheelchair sent out to a custom detailing place in Austin to get fresh new rims and have flames painted on the side.

We live in Donald Trump's America. Dunking on your opponents because it plays well on X-Twitter is how we play the game now. However, to play the game, you have to stand by your words. Crockett had an aide concoct a RIDICULOUS excuse to claim that, no, she wasn't making fun of Abbott in a wheelchair.

I wasn’t thinking about the governor’s condition—I was thinking about the planes, trains, and automobiles he used to transfer migrants into communities led by Black mayors...

Wait, there's more.

Literally, the next line I said was that he was a “Hot A** Mess,” referencing his terrible policies.

And she shared a picture of a bus dropping off illegal immigrants in a sanctuary city where they are welcome with open arms to say, "See? I meant THOSE Hot Wheels."

It's 2025. Mocking your opponent for whatever is most mockworthy is how we play the game. But have the lady balls to stand by the words that spew out of your mouth. Had Crockett said, "yeah, I made fun of his wheelchair," or even "whoops, my bad," I'd probably still say something because these clicks don't bait themselves. But at least it would be with a modicum of respect. 15% respect. Maaaaybe 18%.
