Watch: Jason Kelce celebrates importance of fatherhood in NFL retirement speech and the internet LOVES it

Philadelphia Eagles Jason Kelce announced his retirement from football on Monday. Not to be confused with his brother Travis Kelce on the Kansas City Chiefs, who your favorite MAGA influencer lied to you about being part of a deep state psyop to endorse Biden. Everything Jason is known for has been done on the field. But out of all Kelce's accolades -- 7x Pro Bowl, 6x all-pro, and a Super Bowl ring -- being a father is his greatest achievement.
He made it a point to praise the importance of fatherhood in his retirement speech.
"I am a product of my upbringing. I think one of the best things a person can be in this world is a father. A father who is present, loving, devoted, just may be the greatest gift a child could ask for in our society. And I have a damn good one. My father believed in me more than anyone."

The internet exploded with praise. It's partially sad because we're so unaccustomed to public figures discussing such common-sense things like the importance of fatherhood that it's praiseworthy. But fatherhood and the importance of it is still something to be celebrated.
I share this opinion of Jason. Even though the beer shotgunning took place at the expense of watching my Bills lose to the Chiefs again.
