Lefties just can't seem to handle the notion of a guy with an R after his name in the White House. For proof, look no further than Jeff Daniels. Young Jeffy thinks if the Donald wins a second term, it'll be the end of democracy as we know it. He truly puts the "dumb" in Dumb and Dumber.

Children are watching and I live in Michigan and after the election I was surprised at some of the people. You know, I said "can you believe this election" and they go "yeah, isn't it great," and you're going "whoa." My wife's on Facebook and she goes "whoa, we've got another Trumper."

If the big gamble is to go all the way to November 2020, which I agree, and lose. It's the end of democracy.

Welp, one thing's clear.

Yep, according to Jeff, it's the "end of democracy" because Donald Trump might win another election. In exactly the manner prescribed by the Constitution. With more electoral votes than the other guy. Um, that'd actually proof of our democracy being perfectly intact.

It seems like every time a Republican wins, Democrats think the world is coming to an end. Even some conservatives fall prey to this line of thinking. For anyone out there who feels this way, promptly take your head and remove it from your rectal cavity. The fresh air will do you good.

Look, a simple election is not the end times. No matter who wins, life will go on. Yeah, it sucks when a Democrat wins office, but our Constitution will keep them in line. At least most of the time. Claiming every loss is another doomsday isn't doing anyone any favors.
