Everyone knows the left and the right have a hard time getting along. We've all been known to call the other side nasty names from time to time. "Basket of deplorables" ringing any bells? Well, in keeping with that trend, Governor Jerry Brown of California had some less-than-nice things to say about Trump supporters. He thinks they're a bunch of cavemen. Yes, really.

California Gov. Jerry Brown on Monday called President Donald Trump’s approach to climate change and North Korea “stupid and dangerous and silly,” sharpening his criticism of the president and comparing his supporters to cave dwellers.

“They’re both kind of very similar,” Brown said at a climate change event in New York. “You should check out the derivation of ‘Trump-ite’ and ‘troglodyte,’ because they both refer to people who dwell in deep, dark caves.”

This is typical leftist poppycock. If you dare to disagree with leftist gospel, you're an ignorant, barbaric neanderthal. Remind me, which side tried doubling California's budget to pass a craptastic single-payer program? Also, which side thinks it's a-okay to suck a baby's brains out with a Shop-Vac? But, remember, it's the Trump supporters who are ignorant and barbaric.

Despite what leftists will tell you, climate change is still up for debate. Leftists point at every gust of wind that comes along and tout it as proof of the end-times. We're gonna need more proof than that. But, the left is short on proof. Instead, they come at us with doomsday prophecies of being eaten alive by polar bears and our daughters turning to prostitution.

Funny that Jerry Brown should talk about cave-dwellers. How ironic. Leftists claim your clock radio and cow farts contribute to climate change, so they've all got to be regulated. Or banned. If they had things their way, a cave would be your only viable dwelling.

Jerry will have to forgive us for being skeptical of upending our economy and our way of life to combat the scourge of evil carbon. Especially when man-made climate change might not even be a thing:
