NFL Legend Jim Brown Still Supports Trump: "He Won Fair and Square..."
The controversy of Donald Trump meeting with "people of color" leaders started with Jim Brown (see CNN Throws Race Against Trump, NFL Legend Jim Brown Has None of It and Stephen A. Smith Drop Kicks White Liberal Complaining About Jim Brown’s Trump Meeting). I mean, "controversial" as far as leftists are concerned. The definition is a moving target, so don't expect it to be clear.
Since meeting with Brown, Trump has feuded with John Lewis, who called Trump an "illegitimate President." So where does the NFL legend stand?
He won, in my opinion, fair and square, and I'm going to support him as president of the United States. When you win against all odds and you defeat those who are against you -- and I was for Hillary so I'm one of those who Mr. Trump defeated -- but he is the president-elect of the United States, I'm a citizen. I'm not asking him to do everything. I'm going to pitch in and do some of the things that I can do with the like-minded people that I represent.
That is the most logical thing I've ever heard anyone say about politics. Like, I'm not sure there's ever been so much common sense packed into such a short statement. "My guy lost. It was fair. Now I'm willing to work with the guy who won." Ten points, sir. Ten points.
Let's go macro for just a second: the more black Americans talk with the President-elect, the more members of the left will flush any remaining credibility whenever they scream "RACISM!" and expect people to believe them. I'm reminded of a famous tale involving wolves and safe-space whining. Look it up. Spoiler alert: someone gets eaten. To a rational person, when Brown, Steve Harvey or Martin Luther King III meets with the President-elect, that person sees two people hoping to work together. They're usually familiar with activity, as rational people have these little things known as "jobs." Doesn't seem like it would be newsworthy.
But because Jim Brown is a "person of color" and Donald Trump has hair the shade of faded orange traffic cones, Jim Brown is being taken to task. Doesn't seem fair, does it? No. And please take better care of traffic cones. They take care of you. Jeebus.
Kudos to Brown for doing what he thinks is best, and not taking cues from leftist douchenozzles.
Compare and contrast how Jim Brown views the election vs stupid manatee testicles like this guy...
