Conventional wisdom is that Joe Biden owes an enormous debt of gratitude to Rep. Jim Clyburn. Clyburn's endorsement in South Carolina is believed to be what put Biden over the top, which begat Super Tuesday, which begat Super TWOsday, which begat Biden being the presumptive nominee. One can argue that Donald Trump also owes Clyburn a debt of gratitude for making Biden the nominee. But that's a post for a different time.

Congressman Clyburn is The Man. And according to The Man, the DNC should cancel all remaining debates. There's too much risk of Biden embarrassing himself.

Clyburn has a point. Just look at Biden this week alone (see Joe Biden Gets in Heated, Old Man Argument with Labor Worker Over 'AR-14s' and Joe Biden Doesn't Understand Why People Are Endorsing Him [VIDEO]). Bernie is finally getting Biden in a one-on-one debate — without a live audience, what with the freakout over the Wuhan virus and all that jazz. The only thing left for Biden to do IS embarrass himself. Or at least embarrass himself more better than he has so far.

It's just funny that Clyburn — the man who is considered solely responsible for Biden being the presumptive nominee — has so little faith in Biden.
