It's not official until the vote happens. But I don't see how Congressman Jim Jordan is not the Speaker of the House by this time next week.

Right now there are only two people who have announced they were running: Jordan and Rep. Steve Scalise, and I can't see Scalise staying in as momentum goes Jordan's way. There were rumors of Rep. Byron Donalds being the frontrunner, but considering he shared the announcement that the former president endorsed Jordan, I don't think he's going to run himself.

Jordan as Speaker will make things very interesting. Our interparty squabbles tend to revolve around "hardliners" and "establishment." The hardliners always call for new leadership. Yet it's rare they volunteer their own names to run, and the few who do bother attempting to build a coalition to win. We saw this with the Senate Leadership elections earlier this year. No one wanted Mitch McConnell. Rick Scott, the former Chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, was the only one who stepped up, So the GOP was forced to choose between the man most responsible for us not picking up ANY senate seats last year... and the other guy responsible for us not picking up ANY senate seats last year.

Jordan is a hardliner who was denied from serving on the January 6th committee by Nancy Pelosi. He was also one of the most vocal critics of Pelosi's obsession with impeaching the former president.

Where I'm most interested in a Speaker Jordan is one of his top agendas is Big Tech censorship, specifically his Facebook Files. Let's take a trip back to July 2021, when Joe Biden accused Facebook of killing people. He walked it back because Facebook wasn't killing anyone. This caught our attention because around this time of the White House lashing out at Facebook, our Facebook traffic mocking Joe Biden for being a nincompoop got throttled. Again, as I said, coincidentally. I supposed there is a possibility rabid conservatives all decided at the exact same time they no longer hated Joey.

As Jordan's Facebook Files have proven, there was no coincidence.

Big Tech censorship is the biggest issue concerning the 2024 election, and its one of Jim Jordan's top issues as well. Speaker Jordan will have an opportunity to get something done about it.
