Jimmy Fallon Cowers to Outrage Mob, Cancels Norm MacDonald Interview
Jimmy Fallon is a spineless weenie. Like a blobfish. Only squishier. He canceled a Norm MacDonald interview over the outrage mob (see Norm MacDonald's New Netflix Show Will Be Different. Here's Why... and Leftists Mob Up Against Norm MacDonald Following Roseanne, Louis C.K. Comments). Coward. Here's the statement from The Tonight Show.
“Out of sensitivity to our audience and in light of Norm Macdonald’s comments in the press today, ‘The Tonight Show’ has decided to cancel his appearance on Tuesday’s telecast."
Let's say for sake of argument you think MacDonald's #MeToo comments were at least problematic. Have him on the show to challenge him on his views. Give Norm the chance to explain. Go into more detail about what he meant. Even allow MacDonald to, if he should feel necessary, apologize for those comments. If I'm hosting a TV show -- especially JOHNNY CARSON'S TV SHOW -- and I'm offended by something someone said, I'd encourage more speech, not less.
If not, The Tonight Show should give Norm's spot to Rowan Farrow. Then talk about how Fallon's employer tried to squash the very same story that gave rise to the #MeToo movement in the first place.

I'm going to binge watch Norm MacDonald Has a Show twice on Netflix now. But that's because I didn't cancel it due to Susan Rice and Obummer.
In a fight for the culture wars, you have to choose your battles. I'm going with Norm.
