Death Threat Against JK Rowling Is So Ridiculous Even Rowling Is Laughing It Off Over '90s Rave Vibe'
There's been a lot of talk about "social media harassment" on political Twitter as of late. It has to do with a TikTok reporter I've made the personal life choice not to care about. She's pushing 40 and cries about people being mean to her on Twitter. I'm sure you saw the video. Criticism is mean. Death threats, on the other hand, are okay as long as they're directed at the right people, namely, anyone who has a different opinion about the Democratic Party about anything--people like JK Rowling.
She gets death threats all the time over her radical pro-woman views that at one point the left called feminism. Now, it's called hate speech. The latest death threat didn't have Rowling crying. She actually found it catchy.
I'm afraid I can't give a shout out to everyone promising to murder me - there are so many of you, and I'm a busy woman - but this one deserves a mention for the nineties rave vibe, @TrustFundOzu. pic.twitter.com/Ium6oIHFOS

In the video, artist Faye says that while she kills TERFs (trans-exclusionary radical feminists), she hopes JK Rowling fits in a hearse. Critics call Rowling a "TERF" over her criticism of radical trans-activists. The lyrics taken at face value (as we do on social media) sound like a threat. When Babylon Bee tweeted that a Biden Administration official with a wife, two kids, and a penis was a man, they were yeeted off Twitter. At first, Twitter stated that killing people and wanting to put one specific person in a hearse DIDN'T go against community guidelines.
Surprise, Surprise!
So, death threats=Good.
Saying ‘women are women’=Bad. @Twitter @TwitterSupport
Congratulations. You’ve hit rock bottom. Seek help.

They have since changed their minds. Although JK Rowling is believed by critics to be a "TERF," it is wrong to kill her for it. The video has since been removed. Faye says it's because her video was “doing numbers with the transphobes." Though I fail to see how thinking death threats are bad means you're afraid of the transgender community. Mayhaps Faye can explain that in a new song.
Some jokes are threats. Some criticisms are threats. Some threats are free speech. Welcome to the wonderful world of Twitter.
