When does gaslighting become out and out fraud?

On July 3rd, Huffington Post featured an opinion piece by Kaivan Shroff calling for the Biden Campaign to use AI to help Joe Biden regain some of his youthful vim and vigor. Kaivan Shroff's bio includes work for Hillary's 2016 campaign, an MBA from Yale and a JD from Harvard Law School. This isn't some random person off the street. This is a political operative working in the field today.

After Biden floundered in his debate against Donald Trump, the media and Democrat Party (but I repeat myself) were in a tizzy, caught between their own lies and the overwhelming evidence. There is something wrong with Biden. He is not the man he once was. He is not fit to be president.

While people on the right have known this since...2020? 2019? Honestly, it's been a while... Legacy media is acting completely surprised.

Why?

Maybe it's because they believed their own gaslighting.

In Shroff's piece, he repeats one of the longest running gaslights (gaslits? gaslightens?):

Joe Biden as a supposed lifelong stutterer.

It is so weird that a man who has been in public office since before he was legally allowed to be had no trace of a stutter. The man has been on the national political stage since 1973. That's more than half a decade. The stutter narrative is BS. Even if Biden did overcome a stutter at a young age, its return is not what is plaguing him now.

Special Counsel Robert Hur gave us an unsettling assessment of Biden as " a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory."

It's weird how the words "strong" "proficient" "decisive" "presidential" don't appear anywhere in Hur's documents. How did the media respond?

• Hur was a politically motivated partisan hack
• He did it to bait the media
• Hur's report "openly, obviously, and blatantly" violated DOJ policy
• Hur misled the country
• Attack dog Kamala Harris called it "gratuitous, inaccurate and inappropriate"

The most recent gaslighting had to be the whole "cheap fakes" debacle. The White House Press Secretary coined the term in order to associate real footage of Biden being a tottering old man as "deepfakes" or fake footage generated to fool the public.

Her newly minted phrase was repeated by the leftist legacy media over and over again, as thought repeating the lie would somehow make it true.

Don't worry. Kaivan Shroff fell for that, too. Fell for it so hard, he still believes it. His suggestion of bolstering Biden with actual deepfakes is fraudulent. But he says it's justified. Because Orange Man Bad.

So, how long will it take before that's what they start doing?

No matter how much you hate the media, it's not enough. Stay vigilant.
