Desperation has set in with the Joe Biden campaign. The lawfare against Donald Trump isn't working. Trump keeps going up in the polls while even the "independent" "fact" checkers, usually tasked with circling the wagons around Biden, are forced to admit he's the most unpopular president ever. It's gotten so bad that Biden released a video calling out Trump to a debate.

The reason the debate about debating turned into such a hot-button... err, debate, is that Democrats believed Trump's refusal to debate against his primary opponents would be an excuse for Biden not to debate Trump. According to critics, analysts, and anyone with eyeballs, Biden's mental acuity is diminishing with every public appearance. He appears more and more incompetent, with more and more incontinence.

One problem: Trump's reason for not debating his opponents is that he was so far ahead in the primary polls. Trump's far ahead in the presidential polls, too, but he's the one calling for a debate.

To respond to the challenge and to assure critics that Biden's brain isn't 69% tapioca pudding, his campaign released that video... that was only eleven seconds long and needed SIX jump cuts.

What was their endgame here? Because you know by the end of the day, possibly by the time you've read this, Trump will have responded and accepted the "challenge." Not only will Trump accept the challenge in one take, but he'll also mock Biden for the six jump cuts in his highly edited video and draw attention to that.

Then, the next time they let Biden out in public and don't get there in time to stop him from answering a reporter's question about Trump's response, everyone is going to see WHY they needed six jump cuts to make Joe sound coherent.

And then Team Biden will look for excuses to get out of a public debate.
