Anytime Joe Biden is told to say something derpy about inflation, the people who control Biden assume Washington Post reporters will act like loyal stenographers. No one was expecting WaPo owner Jeff Bezos to call them out over basic economic literacy. Bezos done did it again because Biden done did it again.

Someone tweeted on the @POTUS account a demand for gas stations to lower their prices. Because, as per @POTUS, this is a time of "war." The White House says we're in a time of war.

Set aside that Joe Biden campaigned on declaring war on the energy industry. Or that Biden and the people who control Biden are always finding people to blame for gas prices and inflation. Or that independently owned gas stations, if they could lower prices and weren't struggling, would. Put all that aside.

WE"RE NOT AT WAR!

America is not at war. We've sent money to a country that is at war. But we, the United States of America, ARE. NOT. AT. WAR. You would think the commander-in-chief would know that. But we're lucky if this commander-in-chief remembers where he left his pants.

As Bezos says: misdirection or misunderstanding. Choose.

At the very least, thank God over half of the users who follow @POTUS on Twitter are fake accounts. If real people saw the misinformation being pushed out by the White House, they might fall for it.
