Think way back to two weeks ago. Donald Trump called Kamala Harris a "monster," which was somehow evidence of his sexist racism or racist sexism. 'Member that? Because Joe Biden, who already has problems with black folk (see JOE BIDEN TELLS BLACK PEOPLE THAT THEY 'AIN'T BLACK' and JOE BIDEN JUST ASKED A BLACK REPORTER IF HE DOES COCAINE. NO, REALLY.), called a black candidate a "disaster." Not as much outrage. Or any outrage, since the rules don't apply to the left. It is what it is.

John James, the Michigan senate candidate in question, doesn't need everyone's outrage when he just dropped this nuke of a response.

Joe Biden, don't forget your place in black America,. You're only where you are because you were Barack Obama's vice president. That's it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. Though my response would have probably included the words "suck it" at some point. I'd also make a horrible candidate. Thankfully, John James is a great candidate and is within striking distance from an upset in a state that his hugely important this election cycle. Senator John James isn't as cool a job title as Captain John James, but it still has a nice ring to it. I hope to be able to use it for at least the next six years.
