On Sunday night, Joe Biden announced a blanket pardon for his son Hunter, covering any crimes he may or may not have committed over the span of a decade. In comparison, Gerald Ford's pardon of Nixon only covered five years.

According to Joe, y'all were way too mean to his son.

There has been an effort to break Hunter – who has been five and a half years sober, even in the face of unrelenting attacks and selective prosecution. In trying to break Hunter, they’ve tried to break me – and there’s no reason to believe it will stop here.

This is the part where I'm supposed to be outraged. Something about hypocrisy and derpity derp "defending democracy." I'll keep it real, though. I don't have the bandwidth. The people who control Joe Biden were defeated in the Election. Trump and his team are coming in. I know that you know that I know that you know Biden was always going to pardon his son. We all just assumed he'd do it on the way out of the door on January 20th like a normal outgoing president.

If anything, Biden doing it early and the night before coming back from Thanksgiving break when we would have nothing else to talk about except for the pardon was an AMAZING time to do it. Joe dropping the pardon early is doing nothing but screwing Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself).

All the journalisming hacks who praised Joe for pledging NOT to pardon Hunter are going to look stupid. Or, if they try to pretend they don't look stupid, we're going to ensure that they do, in fact, look stupid.

The Democrat Party, which forced Joe out of the race, would have preferred talking about Pete Hegseth, Kash Patel, and RFK Jr. this week. Instead, Joe's pardon of Biden—which, let's be honest, Jill wrote and signed Joe's name most likely—will dominate the news cycle.

Then, none of them will have anything to say when Trump pardons the J6 prisoners, who, during a mostly peaceful protest, committed the "crime" of trespassing at the Capitol. Or, while they'll have plenty to "say," no one will listen to them after Joe's norm-shattering blanket pardon of Hunter.

Joe did what Joe was always going to do, but he found a way to screw Democrats as much as possible. Gotta be honest: game respect game.
