It was a rough Tuesday for Joe Biden. Someone at the White House must have forgotten to mash up the donepezil in his rice pudding. It's always good to give him a double dose when Biden has a day's worth of events where he's going to be out in the public. It's also a bad idea to schedule a day's worth of events where Joe Biden is going to be out in the public. But sometimes the White House just has to say YOLO and hope he doesn't embarrass himself like he did at the G7.

As far as Joe Biden looking like a confused old coot goes, Tuesday wasn't the worst we've seen him. He didn't lash out at a reporter or (allegedly) tell them that his butt's been wiped. He still had some noodle-scratching moments. Like claiming people don't call tornadoes "tornadoes" any more.

I was not of the impression we stopped calling tornadoes "tornadoes." Unless Biden got confused in a meeting, called them whirly things, and none of his staffers had the strength to correct him. There could always be a woke leftist reason he thinks we don't call tornadoes "tornadoes" any more. They don't have him calling hurricanes "nonbinaryicanes," so I don't think that's the case.

Biden's next brain fart was telling people we only have until 2020 to save the planet. Yes, it is 2021 now. No, I'm not sure Joe Biden knows that.

This could be a simple slip of the tongue. He meant to say 2050 a second time but accidentally said 2020. Another option is that he got talking points confused. The left has been saying that the end of the world is coming for decades now. Biden may have confused yesterday's talking points with ones from when he was vice president. It leaves you to wonder how many times he called Chuck Schumer "Barack."

Then you have the heckling. This has nothing to do with Joe Biden saying or doing something stupid other than existing. A few New Jerseyites put down the 35th anniversary copy of "Slippery When Wet" long enough to tell the president how much he sucks at life.

It was a rough day to be Joe Biden. The good news is that with every sunrise, we're blessed with another day and another opportunity to improve and turn things around. Joe Biden is scheduled to give a major speech this week laying out how he's going to combat the Delta variant.
