I know how the game is played. The president's aides never want the president to take questions. I can't remember aides being as panicked that the president might answer an unscripted question as we've seen in the past with puddinghead in the mask. I also can't remember a president lashing out at reporters for asking unscripted questions. An argument can be made for Trump. But he did it recreationally. When Biden does it, it's mostly "get off of my lawn" with a touch of "how did you people get in my room" and "I just pooped."

Even with the time-honored tradition of yelling "no questions" at reporters.
