Joe Rogan on Importance of "Good Guy with a Gun" Stories
Here at LwC, we try to feature as many "good guy with a gun stories" as we can (see Good Guy With a Gun Confronts, Kills Restaurant Shooter and WATCH: Man Decks Unarmed Woman in the Face. Then Her Coworker Pulls Out Her Gun.). Few things can bring joy to your heart like watching the Second Amendment in action. Seeing justice served.
Joe Rogan spoke on that subject recently. He was discussing the most recent weekend of violence in Chicago with fellow comedian Tony Rock. The subject of using guns for self-defense came up:
That's a good thing for people to see and here's why. I'm not saying everyone should have guns. It's a good thing for people to see, because you only hear the other side. You only hear guns being dangerous and killing people. You never hear about people like that lady, who just saved herself from getting the f*** beat out of her with a gun.
Very true.
Side note. Yes, the "take guns away, ask question later" part was questionable at best. Such a thing is a slope that is slippery. Though, I'm fairly certain they were talking about illegal guns. Rock did make it a point to mention it isn't the legal gun owners who are committing the crimes. Just putting that out there.
The truth is the media doesn't want you to see the positive aspects of gun ownership. The scenarios where mama bear blasts a baddie to kingdom come in protection of herself and her cubs. Or a would-be cop-killer gets a first class ticket to the pits of Hell, courtesy of a Glock-toting Good Samaritan. These are the things which prove gun ownership to be useful.
So long as "good guy with a gun" videos exist, the left is going to have a hard time convincing people the Second Amendment is obsolete. Keep 'em coming.
