Joe Rogan on Fat Shaming: It Totally Works
In the old days, think pre-2015, it wasn't considered fat shaming to tell someone they needed to lose weight. Then came the leftist land whales who were too lazy to lose weight. Being fat became fat pride (see Fat Pride Propagandist Says ‘F*ck Your Beauty Standards.’ She Has No Standards. and Crowder Goes UNDERCOVER, Crashes ‘Fat Pride’ SXSW Panel…). Disagreeing made you a fat-shamer. Probably a sexist transphobic islamophobe too. The left has a habit of blending things together, like a fatty blends carbs.
But as Joe Rogan points out, fat shaming totally works. You just have to realize you need to lose weight.
A good buddy of mine and I have gone up and down with our weight over the years. We used to say it was simple. "Eat Less and Move More...You Fat Bastard." That's how we motivated each other.
Personally, I know I can stand to lose at least thirty pounds. I work out a lot. But I eat like a feminist who literally can't even. Lately, more and more of my t-shirts have been fat shaming me. As has the mirror in the bathroom. My friends and/or society haven't had to. But if any of them did, it wouldn't be something to cry about. It'd motivate me more.
Rogan's not suggesting (nor are we) that you taunt someone for being fat. But being overweight isn't healthy. There's a better way to live. We're not going to pretend otherwise.
