Joe Rogan spoke out about the Will Smith/Chris Rock slap. It was fun content for a lot of us. For comedians, it meant something else. That could have been them. Only at a small club instead of national TV, a drunk fan instead of an A-list celebrity, and a weapon instead of just an open hand. On those grounds alone, Rogan says the Fresh Prince should have been yeeted out of the theatre.

"They literally allowed him to not only win the Academy Award but allowed him to go up there and give a speech after he assaulted a small comedian on stage. [They should have ejected him] 100%. You can't just go smack a man in the face in front of the world, then go about business as usual. It sets a terrible precedence. It sets a terrible precedence for comedy clubs. Are people going to go on stage and decide they're going to smack the comedian now?"

People need to slow down before assigning too much significance and importance to an emasculated actor reacting to his wife's frowny face. I get the concern about fans jumping up. I remember in my past life talking to professional wrestlers, the rule was when someone comes over the barricade it's open season on them. You don't know what they are on or what they are armed with. After Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darryl was murdered on stage, it changed everything. I get the concern. But people aren't going to be inspired by an actor to attack a comedian.

Inspired by Twitter and the leftist attitude that jokes are literal hate speech? That's a different story and a bigger problem because we've seen that happen. It happened to Nick DiPaolo. Some liberal broad's father distracted him so she could run up and sucker-punch Nick. The bitch saw on Twitter Nick was a Republican and she didn't like some of his opinions, so she attacked him and ran off. To liberals, attacking someone who has a different opinion than you isn't only acceptable, it's encouraged. Words and jokes are "violence," attacking someone violently is not.

That's a bigger issue that might inspire others to follow suit. Not the world's most famous cuck slapping Chris Rock.
