Joe Rogan Shares Insight Into Hypocritical Hollywood Celebrities
Hollywood celebrities. Mocking them is as easy as a drunk Amy Schumer. Many of them are terrible people in general, waxing disgusting on their on "vags." And politically? Fuhgettaboutit (see Hollywood Hypocrisy: Director Judd Apatow Attacks Fox News on Sexual Harassment and T.J. Miller Arrested for Assaulting a Cab Driver for “Supporting Trump”).
So it's been hard not to revel in watching such puffy-headed dunderheads make excuses for how they "didn't know" about Harvey Weinstein. But why are celebrities such douchetacos? Joe Rogan offers some insight.
One of the things about Hollywood is that people are always trying out for auditions. They have to be picked or chosen. And they're always trying to position themselves as someone you would want to hire. So they manufacture these's attitudes based on what they think - they lick their finger, they hold it up, they find out which way the wind is blowing and that's the way they go. And they start to construct their personality based on what they think [people want to hear].
Also sounds like the Democrats.
All the casting agents, 100% of them are liberal. Everyone across the board is a Democrat. The radical ones are Bernie Sanders supporters, and everyone has very clear left wing views. So these actors and screenwriters, they all want people to know they're on the right team. And they all want to say a lot of the things they think need to be said.
Teachable moment, because the implication here is not that everyone in Hollywood is a liberal, it's that they must pretend to be liberal. This is why it's important to debate, have conversations with people who think disagree with you.
Besides never knowing what heart and/or mind you're going to change, you never know how much they actually disagree in the first place.
