Joe Rogan finally sat down with Yellowstone creator Taylor Sheridan for over two hours. They covered a lot. There is a fun clip of them sh*ting on vegans floating around. And one area they discussed is the extreme tactics Democrats are using to remove any opponent from the ballot.

Sheridan's comments are what I found interesting, because I rarely hear from people who follow politics but come from, for lack of a better phrase, the "center." It's either people entrenched on the Right (we can smell our own) or Leftist progressive twats. Sheridan seems like someone to the Left of all of us at LwC, but to the right of the Joe Biden Democrat Party.

"People can think of Donald Trump however they want to think of Donald Trump. It really doesn't matter who the individual is," says Sheridan. "A court in Colorado is essentially going to make a decision based upon a trial that hasn't happened yet -- they're basically saying he's guilty of something he hasn't been tried for -- and they're removing him from a ballot."

The Yellowstone creator continues, "And right now the Democrats feel they are justified in that action because they are terrified about Donald Trump, but are thinking about what's going to happen in twenty years or thirty years? Because this is now established. At some point, Republicans will regain control. Another party will be in control, and that party can use all these rules to maintain control."

We saw this with judges. Mitch McConnell rejected calls to eliminate the filibuster to push through George W. Bush's judicial nominees. Harry Reid became the majority leader and eliminated it to push through Obama's nominees... but swore he would never do it for Supreme Court nominees.

McConnell, now Cocaine Mitch, told Reid to go f*ck himself after already lying once and eliminated the filibuster to get through THREE of Donald Trump's Supreme Court nominees. After all, those were the new rules that the Democrats wanted to play by.

And while from a philosophical and civic standpoint, Rogan and Sheridan both make excellent points, speaking as someone more partisan?

In New York, the Democrat-controlled government is ignoring a constitutional amendment the people voted on and ramming through reckless mail-order voting anyway. And just changed local elections to where they will happen on even number of years when more Democrats vote... everywhere except for New York City, which will stay the way it is. The Democrat-controlled government flat-out admits they want to eliminate any right-leaning area of the state and don't care.

Is it troublesome the direction things are going? Yes. But the Left started it they are going that way anyway. All that matters is that we make sure we're the ones controlling the new rules.
