The State of the Union is tonight and here's a preview. Joe Biden will be a divisive prick and claim nothing is his fault, the media will celebrate what a unifying figure he sounded like while they laugh at the concerns and struggles of the middle class, and the SOTU address will maintain its record of being the most useless piece of political theatre we the people put ourselves through.

But when it comes to the post-speech media praise, MSNBC's Joe Scarborough set a high bar for the lack of reality y'all are expected to accept: “F you if you can’t handle the truth. This version of Biden, intellectually, analytically, is the best Biden ever.”

He is talking about this D'oh Biden:

What we're told by Democrats and the media (but I repeat myself) is that we're supposed to ignore the Joe Biden we see and the policies we struggle under. Instead, we're supposed to believe them that Biden has never been better or more coherent. It reminded me of what Mike Rowe said when he explained the "F*ck Joe Biden/Let's Go Brandon" thing from a few years ago.

To recap, college bros started chanting "F*ck Joe Biden," a reporter claimed they were really saying "Let's Go Brandon," and the internet did what the internet does. Rowe explains it became more than an anti-Biden thing. It was anti-all the things the people who control Biden lie to us about and how they expect us not to have functioning eyeholes and ear sockets.

The times that we're living in right now are forcing lots of people on both sides of the aisle to look at a thing, or hear a thing, and be told that what they're seeing and what they're hearing is not real. And you can't do that to people indefinitely and expect them not to push back somehow.

You can't tell people that the border is secure and then show them images of tens of thousands of people flooding over it.

Point of information: This was said back in December of 2021.

You can't tell people that the evacuation of Afghanistan was a success and then show them people falling off of a plane... And you ask people who are watching a NASCAR race at home, who clearly hear the crowd yelling 'F*ck Joe Biden' to pretend that what they're really hearing is 'Let's Go Brandon.'

I think what's happened is people have just become sick and tired of being told that what they're seeing and what they're hearing is not what they're seeing and hearing.

We're now over two years since. We are still expected to believe the border is secure unless we're being told to believe it's not secure AND the fault of Republicans.

We're expected to believe the fundamentals of the economy are strong, even as groceries and the overall cost of living are over a thousand dollars more for families a month under Biden. Also, that's not Biden's fault either. It's the fault of Doritos putting five less chips in your bag.

And we're supposed to believe Joe Biden is the best he's ever been, as we watch him fall apart before our very eyes. Biden is at the top of his game "intellectually" and "analytically," even though he looks and sounds like his brain is 69% tapioca pudding.
