John Fetterman is ours now—or, at least, he's ours FOR now. We claim Fetterman for content purposes and can revisit the deal before he runs for reelection in 2028. Trading him for Mitt Romney is a better deal than the Bills got for Stefon Diggs. None of us had any expectations for Romney. The Left had huge expectations with John Fetterman, and he's been breaking one Lefty heart after the next.
Add two more topics that the Senator has broken with the Left on. He thinks squatting is wrong. Also, he thinks criminals should be in jail.
Fetterman sat for an interview with the New York Post. They discussed the idea of "squatters' rights." It's been a major story ever since a NYC woman was arrested for kicking squatters out of the property she owned and an undocumented Democrat went viral teaching other undocumented Democrats how to steal property.
I should say, it's been a major story out here in real America. If you were to watch NYC-based corporate media, the biggest story is that Donald Trump said a thing in a speech. Fetterman sides with real America on this one.
It's wild, that if you go away on a long trip, for 30 days, and someone breaks into your home and suddenly they have rights. This is crazy. Like if somebody stole your car, and then they held it for 30 days, then somehow you now have some rights?
The Senator also is of the belief that career criminals should be incarcerated. It was another story in real America where ANOTHER career criminal murdered ANOTHER NYPD officer. Not so much on NYC-based corporate media, even though the murder took place in NYC, he was laid to rest just outside NYC, and the NY Governor was kicked out of his wake over the blood she has on her hands.
Breaking with Democrats, John Fetterman thinks the killer should have never been allowed out of jail.
If this individual is convicted, then he should spend the rest of his life in prison, and never have an opportunity to get out. If you have those kinds of established records, it doesn't serve any greater goal to allow people that are offending, offending, offending and allow them to not be held accountable.
It's not just with Israel that Fetterman is breaking from Democrats, and this is a guy who was advertised at one point as being half a socialist.
If we want to be more cynical, we could point out that the senator's "Bullworth" moment came around the same as news that MASSIVE amounts of Pennsylvanians are switching their registration to Republican. Fetterman could be reading the writing on the wall a) early, and b) not ignoring it like some many other elected officials in his party.
John Fetterman is ours for now. When he votes in a way we don't like, we can go back to making fun of him then. Like with The Rock dumping on Joe Biden, sometimes you gotta sit back and enjoy the content for what it is.
