I'm not going to lie, we're not exactly fans of John Oliver here at LwC (see The Border Wall: Why John Oliver is Dead Wrong... and John Oliver's Producer Lies to His Kid About 'President' Hillary Clinton). But him blasting Hollywood's complicity over Harvey Weinstein is spot on. Watch below.

Again, we're not talking about just one or two people here. This was the silent complicity of an entire industry, like John points out in the segment.

Here's the best part:

“So everyone know and they just went with it… He’s like a sex criminal version of the Kool-Aid Man.”

See, it's not that hard to make jokes, as much as some seem to struggle with it (see Video: SNL FINALLY Chimes in on the Harvey Weinstein Scandal... and James Corden Attempts Harvey Weinstein Jokes, Fails Miserably). You don't have to make jokes about Harvey committing sexual assault. The jokes should be about what a scumbag is, and about how an industry who spent decades turning a blind eye to his grossness all of a sudden wants a mulligan from the public.

Hollywood is the joke here.
