Even though it's June when our government orders us to have Pride, it is not a very proud time to be a woman. Your government keeps forcing you to compete in sports against "girls" who went through male puberty and have a penis. A women's prison is no longer a safe space for you. Now, you don't even get lesbianism to yourself anymore. So sayeth Johns Hopkins University. AKA, The Science!

It is unclear when John Hopkins University changed definitions. There is an older link that still acknowledges lesbians as women. But even on the rainbow spectrum the patriarchy reign supreme. A gay man is still a gay man. But a lesbian? That can be anyone who is a "non-man."

The newspeak here is enough to make Orwell scream "Dude! Too far." JK Rowling is saying "I tried to warn you people" as she does snow angels on the huge pile of Harry Potter money she got from the new HBO show.

Lesbian[sexual orientation]: A non-man attracted to non-men. While past definitions refer to ‘lesbian’ as a woman who is emotionally, romantically, and/or sexually attracted to other women, this updated definition includes non-binary people who may also identify with the label.

The updated Johns Hopkins glossary does not give a definition of "non-man." Other than your chad friend who claims he's not a homophobe because "he's a lesbian" does not qualify. Or, maybe he does. It's 2023 and we make things up as we go.

Also, I need to point out this blog post is being written on June 13th at 8:20 AM and I have screen captures of what the LGBTQ Glossary looks like as of June 13th at 8:20 AM. As more conservatives mock the cunnilinguistics it takes for Johns Hopkins to avoid letting women have sex with other women all to themselves, it is only a matter of time before the definition gets changed again. We've seen it happen with the scmaccine, book banning, a recession, and even the word definition.

I keep reading the phrase "LGB without the T" on Twitter from Ls, Gs, and Bs who are sick of the other letters. This is another example of why. Practicing intersectionality as a religion looks exhausting.
