In yet another attempt to mock House Speaker Mike Johnson, the left has attempted to turn him into the Big Bad Wolf for trying to keep his family free of consuming pornography.

Rolling Stone has published a report "exposing" Johnson for not watching pornography and detailed how he and his son keep each other accountable for what they view on the internet. As if that’s a bad thing.

This is the second attempt from a leftist journalist trying to defame Johnson in less than a week.

Just for a bit of a recap, The Daily Beast published a report revealing that Johnson has not reported a checking or savings account in his name — nor his wife or children during the short time he has so far served in Congress. In other words, The Daily Beast is furious that Johnson isn’t rich, corrupt, or both. And on top of that, he also does not trade stocks as a member of Congress and does not seem to have any shady business dealings.

“Speaker of the House Mike Johnson admitted that he and his son monitored each other’s porn intake in a resurfaced clip from 2022,” Rolling Stone wrote.

The outlet on Sunday published a video clip where Johnson explains that they use an app called Covenant Eyes to prevent them from consuming such material.

“It scans all the activity on your phone, or your devices, your laptop, what have you; we do all of it,” Johnson said about the app, according to the outlet.

Thanks to Rolling Stone, the world now knows that Johnson does not watch pornography. Wow. Shocker.

“It sends a report to your accountability partner. My accountability partner right now is Jack, my son. He’s 17. So he and I get a report about all the things that are on our phones, all of our devices, once a week. If anything objectionable comes up, your accountability partner gets an immediate notice. I’m proud to tell ya, my son has got a clean slate,” Johnson previously said, according to the outlet.

I fail to see the bad part of trying to make sure you and your son do not fall victim to degenerate things just because it is so widely accepted.

This alludes to similar attacks when the left tried to go after Mike Pence and his marriage.

Many members of the media fail to see that so many people in this country have different political and religious views from those held by journalists. And by somehow actively trying to not fall victim to sexual degeneracy, this somehow makes them the bad guys.

Would the left rather have the third most powerful person in the country have an obsession with consuming such material? Are they really trying to paint this man as a bad person for setting boundaries through accountability?

The fact that the left is attempting to mock this shows just how depraved we have become as a society.
