Leftists have be pining for Jon Stewart. They practically worship his salt and pepper beardy thing. Not having him on television for Election night was worse than that time Lena Dunham wore a dress and demanded the world call her pretty. While I don't agree with everything Stewart has said, I've always been fair. Jon Stewart was someone from the left who at least seems to be an honest broker (see Jon Stewart Talks Trump. Well, he was on TV today...and I don't think this is what the left expected.

"I thought Donald Trump disqualified himself at numerous points. But, there is now this idea that anyone who voted for him has to be defined by the worst of his rhetoric. There are guys in my neighborhood that I love, that I respect. That I think have incredible qualities who are not afraid of Mexicans and not afraid of Muslims and not afraid of blacks. They are afraid of their insurance premiums.In the liberal community, you hate this idea of creating people as a monolith. 'Don't look at Muslims as a monolith. They are individuals and it's ignorant.' But everyone who voted for Trump is a monolith, is a racist? That hypocrisy is also real."

And before anyone asks, no. I did not agree with everything he said on "CBS This Morning." But his point here is one that is appreciated, and that needs to be repeated.

Not that leftists will learn from it. What Jon Stewart may be attempting is to save his ideology and the Democrat party from further losses in 2018. Which will happen if the left continues to paint their opposition with broad strokes of "RACISM!" at every opportunity.

Because Stewart is right in this segment. People voted for Trump for a host of reasons. The majority of which had zero to do with racism and everything to do with the Democrat party setting their phasers to "Screw you." Americans are tired of being lectured, beat down, and having their pockets picked by elitist banana brains living in DC.
