Jon Stewart returned to The Daily Show, and progressives are sore in the anus area because, in a show where he bashed conservatives, he made a slight and obvious criticism of Joe Biden. Apparently in the eyes of the Left, this shows that he thinks "both sides are equally bad."

I should point out that the "three idiots on X-Twitter having the same dumb opinion" standard is in effect. The Hollywood Reporter, a mainstream "news" outlet used those three idiots to create content. That makes this a news story. Don't look at me. I don't make these rules.

Stewart's first run on The Daily Show helped influence today's mainstream corporate media. Jon was one of the few intellectually honest Lefties on television, yet managed to inspire a generation of intellectually DISHONEST Lefties to pursue a career in journalisming who didn't think media was biased enough toward their opinions.

The comedian attempted to bring back intellectual honesty on the Left in recent years by being reasonable about the Lab Leak Theory and dismissing claims that opposing viewpoints are misinformation. Then he must have gotten a talking to because he made such a hard left turn toward anti-white progressivism that Cory F*cking Booker had to pull him back to the center.

Jon Stewart returns to a genre where if you make any criticism of the Left you are no better than someone who mostly peacefully protested outside the Capitol on January 6th. And this is the offending segment:

Per THR, a podcaster was all like, "If you're a Democrat with high hopes about the return of Jon Stewart, save your excitement."

A Democrat election official, ignoring where Stewart claimed both sides are NOT equally bad, chirped, "So you basically say because Biden is old, he is basically as bad as Trump."

A self-professed Democrat activist had her heart broken, "I had a Jon Stewart for President shirt and rarely missed a show. So disappointing."

Then you had this random progressive:

President Biden honored Jon Stewart for his work on the PACT Act at the bill signing ceremony, calling for a standing ovation. @TheDailyShow this is how you pay him back? What a cheap shot. I’ll never forgive you.

For all the criticism the Right gets for pointing out how biased the media is, the Left not only expects the media to be biased but demands it from them. And not just the media. Anyone who has a platform anywhere. If they aren't using that platform to advance the Left's agenda, that person needs to be shamed, othered, and/or destroyed.

That is the legacy Jon Stewart created from his first run on The Daily Show. We'll see how he responds to it with his return.
