If you frequent the Louder with Crowder Dot Com website, you'll certainly remember the story of the elderly bodega employee who stabbed a violent thug in an act of self-defense and was arrested and charged with murder for his trouble. Well, the plot thickens, as newly released surveillance footage from the Daily Mail shows the bodega employee being stabbed by the man's girlfriend during the altercation that resulted in the boyfriend's death.

So, the original story was that the bodega employee, Jose Alba, took a bag of chips from this woman's daughter after her EBT card was denied, and she ran to go tell her thug boyfriend about the disrespect (or something like that). But now, we know that she, too, assaulted Alba, stabbing him as he was already attempting to defend himself against her unruly boyfriend.

Alba has been arrested and charged with murder thanks to the moronic progressive DA Alvin Bragg because, in liberal cities, criminals are treated better than law-abiding citizens. They've installed a revolving door at the jailhouse just to get these pieces of garbage back onto the streets just a little bit faster.

This should be a clear case of self-defense. (You can watch the video surveillance footage here). An elderly man was assaulted by a young thug, and the man did what he needed to do to defend himself. He wasn't about to try to box the kid, for Christ's sake. But Leftist DAs aren't too fond of people defending themselves against criminals because they like criminals. If there's any justice in the world, a jury will spend less than five seconds deliberating before handing down a not guilty verdict. But this is New York, and justice really isn't their thing over there.
