Watch: Journalist shares story about a girl being told by a therapist her bulimia would be cured if she became a boy
It's stories like this that make me hope America will one day look back on the medical gender transition of minors as one of the darkest periods in the nation's history. It, thankfully, does seem to be headed in that direction, as more and more people wake up to the truth.
Listen to this lady describe a young girl's transition story. The teenage girl was horribly bulimic for years and eventually had her breasts removed through top surgery. A therapist then told her that the reason she was bulimic was that she was actually a boy and didn't want curves. So she then got her ovaries and uterus removed, and was therefore completely sterilized.

The girl still felt terrible afterwards, of course. So she found support groups of women who had undergone hysterectomies, and began speaking to them. This next line is heartbreaking: "One day, this sentence floated into her mind, and it was just, 'how can an operation that is only done on women turn me into a man?'"
The lady concluded her story with a terrifying revelation: "Oh f**cking hell. They are sterilizing gay kids."
The lady is Helen Joyce, an Irish journalist and director of Sex Matters, an advocacy group that "campaigns for clarity about the two sexes, male and female, in law and in life." She's also the author of “Trans: When Ideology Meets Reality”. This particular story is apparently one of several de-transitioner stories that inspired Joyce to campaign against gender ideology.
Unfortunately, the "cure" of gender transition is seemingly being pushed on depressed youth more and more. The surgeries and hormones are a heck of a lot more profitable than therapy or antidepressants. They often come with devastating consequences, of course, but the gender surgeons don't have to worry about that. That just means more follow-up appointments for them.
