Joy Behar Displays Mind-Numbing Ignorance Towards Branches of Government During Anti-Gun Rant

If you ever wonder why conservatives don't take liberals seriously when they cry "misinformation," I'll give you a perfect two-word example: "The View." On Wednesday, they were yakking it up about the NYC subway shooter. He didn't fit the profile that allowed them to blame Donald Trump or Tucker Carlson, so they said a bunch of dumb things about guns. The usual talking points, nothing you don't hear from Joe Biden. Then it was Joy Behar's turn.

She thinks the Supreme Court passes bills.

Congratulations, Whoopi Goldberg. You no longer have the most ignorant statement uttered on "The View" in 2022. The three branches of government are basic "Schoolhouse Rock!" stuff. I *think* what Behar is babbling about is NYSRPA v. Bruen. That's a case before the Supreme Court to determine if one specific New York gun law violates the Constitution or not. Because that's what SCOTUS does, interpret the law. They don't pass laws. They decide if laws that legislative branches pass are Constitutional.

There was one bit of misinformation corrected during the show. No doubt "The View" is following Newsbusters while the show is live.

But the rest of the show's ignorance stood uncorrected because it's not "misinformation" when elitist liberals--who are all so much smarter than rube America--do it. That's unfortunate because "The View" has an audience of impressionable, low-information voters who believe what they're told by Joy and the gals. Voters who believe other liberal brain nuggets, like the only reason Republicans win US Senate seats is because of gerrymandering. Let that one simmer for a bit.
