WATCH: Joy Behar Goes On Bizarre Rant, Claims Gen Z Is Leftist Because Republicans Cause Tornadoes
Joy Behar has some intriguing thoughts about Republicans, and we are very glad she shared them today on The View. The (unintentional) entertainment value of that show is unmatched.
The ladies were discussing a poll that found 77% of Gen Z'ers backed Democrats for Congress. Which, as a fellow Zoomer myself, hurts my heart. We gotta step it up, gang.
But Behar had some interesting opinions as to why the youngest voting generation chose Democrats - guns, abortion, and...tornadoes. Yes, tornadoes.
\u201cJoy Behar declares "this is the end of the Republican Party" and they're NEVER "going to win elections anymore in this country."\nShe claims the GOP is going back to 1897.\nShe blames the GOP for school shootings and tornados.\u201d— Nicholas Fondacaro (@Nicholas Fondacaro) 1680793955
Behar also claimed this is the end of the Republican Party and Republicans will never win any elections any more. Which may be true. But not for the reasons she thinks. ANYway...
"These kids were born in 1997, not 1897, which is where the Republican Party is going. And they're like hey, wait, hold up. I don't want to get killed in school. I don't want to be, you know, in the middle of another tornado or whatever the hell is going on in this country. All I hear about are tornadoes all the time."
Uhh...what.
Behar seemed to quickly realize her claim made no sense. But she already said it on live television, so she had to go full steam ahead with pinning natural disasters on the Republican Party. So she asked her fellow panelists if the recent tornadoes are due to climate change, and they all reassured her that yes, they are. Definitely. In fact, I heard Josh Hawley is personally brewing up another whopper of a storm as we speak. Just to be that way.
She then claimed young women want their abortion "rights," just in case. Just in case they do that thing that leads to a baby, and end up creating a baby. Gotta have that "murder" option on the back burner.
And unfortunately, this claim might actually be true. Abortion seems to be a sacred "right" for many women in this country. Not so sure about the tornadoes, though.
