TikTok is commonly a place where the mentally unhinged go to air their delusions, fantasies, and grievances, so of course, Joy Reid is out publishing TikTok videos. I’m sure she has her very own following of devoted leftists who each have their own TikTok channels with videos of a similar bent.

But Joy Reid isn’t telling a random assortment of weirdos about her newly discovered gender identity with her very own newly coined pronouns to go with it—although I wouldn’t be surprised to eventually see that video. She’s upset because a bunch of mean right-wingers have been pestering her on Twitter. They’ve been asking her difficult questions like “What is a woman?” and “Do babies have value?”

She could’ve answered the questions. Instead, she flipped that cell phone camera around and recorded a rant, crazy-eyed glare and all.

“I am so sick of right-wing men coming into my mentions and asking me stupid basic biology questions like ‘What is a woman?’ and ‘Are babies valuable?’. I have given birth to […] three full humans and raised them with the help of my husband. I am a mother, but I’m not your mother. […] Ask your momma.”

Okay, but that just begs the question: What is a woman? Mother is obviously a gendered term; only women can be mothers—we’ve had experience with this before. So, what is a woman, Joy Reid? You seem to believe you’re so brilliant. Just answer the question. Shame we ignorant right-wing men by demonstrating your intellectual prowess.

I do have some additional questions after this, though. What is a full human? Can you give birth to half-human offspring? Like some kind of chimera? Or is she insinuating that babies born with disfigurements or missing limbs are somehow fractions of humans? It has to be one of those, right?

I don’t expect Reid to ever answer such simple questions because they are simple questions. They are simple questions the left has decided cannot be answered; it would destroy the worldviews of too many leftists who believe the gender binary is poppycock or that babies suddenly become babies, as if by magic, the moment they exit their mothers’ wombs and are prime targets for murder at any moment, even mere seconds, before birth.

Joy Reid is angry at right-wing men for asking her questions, but we’re equal parts amused and dismayed at her inability and or refusal to answer them. Are you a woman, Joy? Can you answer that one?
