We are on what feels like day eight hundred and eleventy five of "15 Days to Flatten the Curve," and many Americans have had all they can stands with the pandemic. Some of us have been there since the beginning (hi Courtney). The rest of us are starting to finally ask questions and come to the conclusion that enough is in fact enough (see BARSTOOL'S DAVE PORTNOY TELLS VIRUS PANICKERS TO 'CHILL OUT AND LIVE YOUR LIFE!' and MIKE ROWE DELIVERS REAL COMMON SENSE THAT COVID PANIC ADDICTS WILL HATE). When the experts go from "no getting back to normal without a vaccine" to "even if we have a vaccine, that doesn't mean we'll ever get back to normal," it heavily insinuates in my humble opinion the "experts" either don't know what they're talking about, or simply don't want us to get back to normal. At least until after election day. Unless Donald Trump gets re-elected. Allegedly (hi, Facebook "independent" fact-checkers!).

Comedian JP Sears, who has also been questioning things from the beginning (with Courtney) applied the new "pandemic thinking" to all walks of life. SPOILER: it exposes how ridiculous everything would be and thus, how silly the pandemic rules are.

This isn't a rant calling anything a hoax. Nor is it a strong opinion about not wearing masks. Though I can see the panic porn industry trying to claim it's either/or and throttling it on social media as a result. It IS however important commentary that everyone needs to think long and hard about before jumping through the next hoop "experts" set before us in order to "protect us." Because I'm less concerned about the virus as I am whatever virus or random thing that comes after this one. We saw how easy it was to whip everyone in a panic AND we're seeing how easy it is for people who question things to be silenced.

Our elected officials have learned a lot from this pandemic. If you think they're not going to try to leverage this kind of control again, you're not thinking. This is why you don't hand power to tyrants. They just look to take more of it. See also: the last six months.
