When we consistently see headlines confirming that too many American cities are run by a committed culture of lawlessness, it is nice to know that some officials still believe crime should be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

Who would have guessed that giving illegal immigrants free flights with no identification requirement would increase human trafficking? Well, not the federal government.

This week we reported that the White House admitted they have been transporting migrants on secret flights. Today we shall report that Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced a total of 228 arrests in an undercover human trafficking investigation. But the worst part about that is at least 21 of those suspects are foreign nationals that are in the country illegally.

According to NTD News:

At a March 5 press conference, Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd announced the bust of a human trafficking operation on the west side of the county in Lakeland that led to 228 arrests and the rescue of 13 potential victims.

The significance, he said, was that this is “the most ever” they have been able to identify.

One of the men arrested was handling three illegal immigrant females from Venezuela for the head of a sex trafficking ring they believe is female.

“She sets up their appointments, she puts their ads online, she tells them where to go,” Sheriff Judd explained, adding that the three victims had to “pay her $3,000 a piece” by the end of the week as a means of “paying off their debt.”

Sheriff Judd then said that the three victims told law enforcement that when they came to the United States illegally “DHS gave them a form, and ID paperwork that allows them to fly for free.”

So, while the three sex workers operate out of New York, they said they fly to major metropolitan areas for free “on the federal government where they set up their appointments for sex all around the country.”

Let’s get this straight. At least several foreign nationals, who should not even be here, get to live in New York and reap all of those taxpayer benefits while trafficking people FOR FREE all across the country. And all of this is going on because the federal government REFUSES to admit that any human is illegal.

It is so incredibly irritating that many liberals admittedly refuse to acknowledge the correlation between human trafficking and illegal immigration. They not only deny that reality but mock those who bring awareness to it as conspiracy theorists.

Sheriff Judd said all 21 of the illegal immigrants told a “similar story” regarding their involvement in the sex trafficking scheme.

“We can’t work legally,” he recalled them saying. “We’re addicted to this cash. It’s a lot of cash and it’s quick so we have to give $3,000 a week. We get to keep everything above that.”

“We have a crisis at the border,” Sheriff Judd asserted, “and because of the crisis at the border we have people that are victimizing illegal folks, forcing them into the sex trade because we allow these criminals in the country illegally.”

I really cannot even put into words how infuriating this is. Not only does the federal government refuse to even mention the victims created as a direct result of its de facto open border, but they seem to be assisting in funding it.

It is a fact that Biden’s policies have fueled the worst border crisis in American history and Judd has not even scratched a fraction of what is likely going on. It is incredibly sad and all of this is at the expense of law-abiding citizens.

But none of that matters as long as this administration gets to make sure that no human is illegal.

Biden inherited the most secure border in American history and intentionally destroyed all of that. Subsequently, the most vulnerable people in society suffer because of this.

But as Judd said, “If they weren’t here illegally at all the crime they would commit here would be zero.”

“So, we’re being victimized.”
