Everyone knows the left is anything but gaga over the Trump. Since before the citrus-hued Commander-in-Chief even took office, leftists have been devising ways to oust the Donald and coming up with "interesting" ways of coping with his ascendancy. Their latest coping mechanism? Staging a performance of Julius Caesar in the park and stabbing a Trump lookalike to death. Yes, really...

The New York-based arts organization came under fire for staging a production of Shakespeare’s “Julius Caesar” starring Trump look-alike Gregg Henry in the titular role. In this staging of play, which was part of the summer’s Free Shakespeare in the Park, Caesar is a businessman known for his petulant personality, fancy suits and blondish hair with orange overtones.

His wife, Calpurnia, even has a Slavic accent, much like first lady Melania Trump.

In the play, Roman senators fear Caesar had become power hungry, so they stab him to death.

Delta Air Lines pulled its funding of the theater group on Sunday in response to mounting criticism. Soon after, Bank of America pulled its sponsorship of the play but will retain its funding of the theater.

You know, for a group of people who pride themselves on being "tolerant" and "inclusive," this simulated murder doesn't come across as very compassionate. Psychopathic, on the other hand?

Leftists will no doubt twist their tongues into knots trying to explain this mock assassination of a sitting President as "artistically expressing their frustrations with the current administration through the majestic works of Shakespeare." The rest of us, here on the sane side, would refer to the stabbing of orange Julius as being more along the lines of a death threat. Minor differences.

Ever since November, the left has thrown subtlety to the wind and let their violent flag fly. We've been treated, if that's what you'd call it, to progressive "expressions" of assault, rioting, and attempted murder. Even the arson of a Trump supporter's hair.

It's becoming more obvious by the day that, when the left finds itself on the losing side, the gloves, and the straitjackets, are off. Might I recommend you stunted cultural Marxists immediately seek out some counseling and some strong anti-psychotic medications. You'd be doing yourselves and the rest of us a YUGE favor.

This display of liberal, homicidal fantasies just goes to show that they're anything but peaceful. Their movement is comprised entirely of spoiled, overgrown infants who are emotionally incapable of accepting that they can't always get what they want. Time to grow up, guys. Also, theater is dead.
