On Thursday, we finally received #JusticeForJussie. The person responsible for attacking the former Empire actor at 2 am in Chicago has been found guilty. However, it must seem a little bittersweet to Smollett, seeing as how he was responsible, and he’s been found guilty of staging a hate-crime hoax with the help of his two friends.

Anyone who recalls when this event first took place might remember how fast the media ran with it. It reinforced their narrative that America was a deeply racist and homophobic country, and groups of roving Trump supporters were out doing the MAGA bidding. Even celebrities and politicians gathered to show support for Smollett.

It was all bullsh*t, and everyone with even a modicum of sense understood this. But the media and the lefties they pander to have been running short on sense for a long time, now.

Smollett’s story quickly unraveled when it was discovered he had paid two Nigerian brothers to play the roles of the two MAGAites. They even did a filmed dress rehearsal so it would be just right for the dimwits in the media.

The trial was more or less a process of weighing the story of the brothers versus Smollett’s story, as he began to quickly morph into something different, creating motives for the brothers out of whole cloth.

In the end, Smollett has been found guilty and faces up to three years in jail. Good riddance.
