2022 introduced us to Just Stop Oil. You can guess what the organization is about, their name isn't ironic. They are the latest leftist slacktivists to keep up the time-honored tradition of protesting in a way that guarantees no one will take them seriously. So much so, they are bragging about their greatest "hits" on Twitter.

The org -- they think they look like the good guys here -- tried to stop a Formula One race over the summer. Did the crowd yell: a) "I support your cause," b) "electric vehicles are sexy," or c) "you f*cking tw*ts."

If you answered C) YOU F*CKING TW*TS, you win! You have also been paying attention when this soy army glued their heads to price works of art. It's remarkable how not only do these wackadoodles not realize they are the assholes, they brag about it.

Imagine sharing a video like this and believing you aren't the baddies in the situation.

It has been quite the year for performative slacktivism. We've seen people spilling milk in defense of cows, not realizing their actions would force more cows to make more milk. People blocking traffic have been chucked like the useless sacks of soy they are. Though my personal favorite is this video where protesters thought crazy-gluing their hands to the street was foolproof, and French Police said, "Nope."

No one had quite the panache as Just Stop Oil though. They are our 2022 Useless F*cking Tw*ts of the Year!
