Anti-Second Amendment Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s Bodyguard Shoots Teen Trying To Steal His Car

Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor believes the Second Amendment was never intended to “protect a private right of armed self-defense.” That is an incorrect interpretation of the Constitution but leftists don’t like this little thing called “truth.”
But despite her asinine interpretation of what the founders “intended,” she appears to fight to destroy your right to self-defense while having armed security herself. Unclear if she believes the right to protect one's life should not be afforded to the little people but if the shoe fits, it fits.
And here is the irony: Sotomayor’s bodyguard shot a would-be carjacker outside her home on Friday.
"In sum, the Framers did not write the Second Amendment in order to protect a private right of armed self defense." -- Sotomayor, with the dissent in McDonald https://t.co/qSWVRiY444

According to the New York Post:
Two deputy US Marshals shot a would-be carjacker who pulled a gun on him while they were guarding Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor’s home in Washington, DC, authorities said.
The marshals were parked outside Sotomayor’s home in northwest DC on July 5 when Kentrell Flowers, 18, allegedly walked up to one of their cars around 1:15 a.m. and pointed a gun one of the federal agents, the US Marshals Service told The Post.
One of the federal agents drew his weapon and fired several shots at the suspect, with the second officer also firing his weapon at Flowers.
Flowers, of Southeast DC, was arrested and treated at a local hospital for non-life-threatening injuries, officials said.
The teenage suspect was charged with armed carjacking, carrying a pistol without a license, and possession of a large capacity magazine.
Of course, it’s a teenager trying to steal a car. Of course, it is. Our nation’s capital is currently going through a violent crime epidemic among youth and progressives could care less. But what do they expect when officials have announced that they won’t be holding juveniles accountable?
This is just the latest in a series of high profile carjackings of federal agents and VIPs in the nation’s capital.
While city officials pretend that a warm glass of milk will eradicate crime, they have destroyed any amount of public safety as they embolden criminals. The worst part is that there are people like Sotomayor who probably agree with the policies that fueled this culture of lawlessness even though she also believes law-abiding citizens should be disarmed unless you are protecting her and/or her residence. Duh.
As the general public is left to fend for themselves in our nation's capital, and while some are even punished for doing that in major cities across America, the elite are protected from the chaos they create. I am no legal expert, but something tells me that the founders never intended for that to be the status quo.
