Kamala Harris headlined a fundraiser in South Carolina last week. There was some talk, mostly chirping on Twitter, it was the first sign Joe Biden might not run for reelection. This is how it begins. Someone else who is thinking of running finds excuses to hit the early primary states tries to raise money and sees the interest in them as president. Judging by the DNC's going out of business sale for a photo with Kamala Harris, there isn't much interest at all.

The DNC was charging $15,000 for a photo with Kamala. It's being postponed. There is another fundraiser where they are only charging $5000 for a Harris photo op. Now, the way the tweet is worded makes it sound like two separate fundraisers, and I'm not sure if the DNC is running the second one. The attached link was all about Biden things. Still, it's all the same Democratic donors. And having to slash costs of a photo op with the FREAKING VICE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES is embarrassing, degrading, and most importantly, funny as hell.

I'm sure there will be damage control. Puck News isn't exactly what you would call "MAGA" and is pretty in tune with the left. But when you have people leaking left and further left about how unlikable and terrible Kamala Harris is, it's not a surprise that her now-former staffers aren't the only ones who don't want to take a picture with her.

I wonder what the going rate is for a Pete Buttigieg photo op. I also wonder if a Buttigieg loyalist is who leaked this to Puck news.
