Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are believed not to get along. It shouldn't be surprising. During the primary, Harris accused Biden of being a segregationist and sided with the woman accusing Biden of sexual assault. After agreeing to be Biden's side piece anyway, there's been tons of behind-the-scenes gossip. And also, body language. But a new book shines a light on just how much Biden can't stand her. Or he's just a cranky and sexist old man. I'm good either way.

Daily Mail has an excerpt of This Will Not Pass: Trump, Biden, and the Battle for America’s Future, by NYT reporters Jonathan Martin and Alexander Burns. They tell a tale of Kamala Harris speaking out of turn during an infrastructure bill meeting, and Joe Biden freaking out on her so bad even the Republican senators were like, "Damn, dude."

"'She ‘began to make the case for a larger package than the one Republicans seemed to have in mind [...]Biden dismissed her comment immediately,’ the authors wrote, in so harsh a tone ‘that even the Republican senators were taken aback.’"

Kamala learned her lesson in subsequent meetings.

"Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan said that Biden took charge and was eager to work with the governors. But he said that Harris’s role in the meeting was very strange. ‘Harris did not say a word,’ Hogan reportedly said, leaving him to question whether she was ‘just being deferential to the president—didn’t want to step on him.’"

Keep in mind, these are NEW YORK TIMES reporters writing this. Ideologically, these are people who LIKE at least either Joe Biden or Kamala Harris.

If true, it creates a fun 2024. Biden and Harris hate each other. Biden is old AF, and there is no guarantee he runs for reelection. If he doesn't, the knives are already out for Kamala and no one liked her to begin with.
