Video resurfaces of Tennessee Mayor viciously assaulting Trump's pick for Department of Education
I haven't always been the biggest Donald Trump fan. When he first ran for president, people would attempt to sell me on him by saying, "You're a wrestling fan; you should get what he's doing." It's fascinating to look back on those conversations eight years later. Trump is about to start his second turn as president. The Undertaker's brother has since been elected Mayor in Tennessee. And Linda McMahon, the former CEO of the WWE, has been named as the incoming Secretary of Education.
Which hopefully means she'll be shutting down the Department of Education. But that's a blog post for a different time.
If Shane McMahon could please finally make his AEW debut before the inauguration and the updated family photo from the Oval Office, that would maximize the IWC meltdowns on the X-Twitters. pic.twitter.com/h8VO0lWaNO

We're here to relive the time Knox County Mayor Glenn Jacobs gave Linda a tombstone piledriver on a metal stage.
To set the...well, stage, Jacobs -- or "Kane" --spent a lifetime headed down the wrong path after burning down his parents' funeral parlor while they were still inside. He used to hide behind a red mask.
For some reason, Rob Van Dam, possibly while high, thought there was a human side of the Big Red Monster. RVD managed to coax Kane to take off the mask and let everyone see who he really was.
Bad idea. The maskless Kane went more insane. He set Jim Ross on fire. He beat up officials. And he was about to end Van Dam's career until Linda, in her role as a WWE authority figure, attempted to talk some sense into him.

The funny thing is I interviewed Mayor Jacobs once. He was still Kane, and I was to believe he murdered his parents, which makes you wonder why he was at a baseball card shop on Long Island and not in jail.
As a wise man once said, the real world is stranger than wrestling. Though, between wrestling and politics, its sometimes difficult to determine which is more scripted and which is more political.
