Karine Jean-Pierre shattered through two or three different glass ceilings today on her first job as White House Press Secretary. Then came time to answer a question from a non-adoring member of the press. The only one. Enter DOOCY. DOOCY asked about Joe Biden's now-infamous tweet that to fight inflation, people who make more money than Joe Biden need to pay their "fair share." The two have nothing to do with each other. But before we even get to that point, KJP had no idea what the hell DOOCY was talking about.

What makes this inexplicable is that the WH communications team knows about this tweet. They put out a statement attacking Jeff Bezos over it after Bezos pointed out how stupid it was. The WH has been using Twitter to spread disinformation. Bezos has been calling them out on it. It's been all over the internet.

Then came this sixty seconds of cringe. KJP said raising taxes will lower the cost of gas and food for Americans by listing a bunch of things that have nothing to do with either.

"We encourage those who have done very well, especially those who care about climate change, to support a fairer tax code."

This is what the left does. There are issues the American people care about, and there are issues ultra-elitist progressives think are more important and the American people are too stupid to care about. Inflation and the economy are the top issues on the minds of voters. Climate change and raising taxes are at the bottom. So, the White House thinks by combining everything together, you'll be dumb enough to fall for it. The Biden White House has no plans to fight inflation. The Biden White House is what caused it.

I understand KJP's job is to lie on behalf of the White House, same as Jen Psaki. But Psaki at least did her homework and came prepared.
