Professional wrestling is one of my sanctuaries AWAY from politics, but it couldn't be avoided this past weekend when loser Canadians booed our National Anthem. That didn't sit well with Pat McAfee, who let those hosers know how much they su-diddly-uck.

Now, Keith Olbermann is taking a break from yelling at a houseplant he confuses for Joe Scarborough and demanding McAfee get fired from ESPN for his accurate assessment of Canada being terrible.

Over the weekend, WWE held Elimination Chamber. John Cena turned heel and unleashed one hilarious meme after another. Jade Cargill made her return to deliver a beatdown on Naomi, who real ones always knew was the one responsible for putting her through a car windshield. Karrion Kross was criminally underutilized. We're on the road to WrestleMania!

However, not before the Canadian audience booed our National Anthem. You can attribute it to their inferiority complex regarding our country being led by Donald Trump while their own is managed by a walking pile of soy and hair goop.

McAfee did not take this disrespect lightly.

In fairness, McAfee was not the only patriotic member of the WWE roster.

McAfee addressed the incident on the Pat McAfee Show and wanted to let bygones be bygones, but not before reminding Canadians that he found them lacking.

First reaction whenever the national anthem starts up there was for some of these Canadians just to start booing and I’m like, "What?" Okay. My entire life, my first reaction when somebody boos the national anthem is, f*ck you.

I’m very proud that I am from the United States of America. And is everything perfect? Absolutely not. But my dad went from being a truck driver to a millionaire because he taught his son a work ethic and that anything is possible on this land here in the United States.

You boo my country. I called your country terrible. Let’s shake hands.

Sounds fair, right? Not to what's left of Keith Olbermann. He demands ESPN fire Pat McAfee because *checks notes* McAfee is drawing the network into a political controversy.

Yes. The same network that defends men being allowed to steal sports opportunities from our daughters, had segment after segment implying Josh Allen is only the NFL MVP because he's white, and is always looking for an excuse to attack Donald Trump even if it has NOTHING to do with sports. That ESPN. McAfee is too political for that ESPN.

To Olbermann, and I'm sure every other progressive twat, McAfee defending America over something that happened at a professional wrestling show one "political controversy" to far.

There’s only one way to settle this. As I mentioned, we're on the Road to WrestleMania. If Corey Graves can't get medically cleared to face McAfee one-on-one, let's have Keithums step up. McAfee vs. Olbermann. April 19th or 20th. Las Vegas. You can even throw in Stephen A. Smith as the special guest referee.
