MONUMENTAL: KellyAnne Conway and Mike Pence Speak at the March for Life
There was justifiable concern over how serious Donald Trump was on the right to life. Let's be real, he's been on every side on every issue, and was pretty far left on abortion like most New York City liberals. But when you see the Administration's involvement with the annual March for Life, most of those concerns should be relieved.
First was KellyAnne Conway, the woman who shattered the glass ceiling and became the first woman to manage a winning Presidential campaign...
Our message and our positive action must also reach those women who face unplanned pregnancies. They should know they are not alone, they are not judged. They too are protected and cared for and celebrated.
That was directed to all leftists who believe pro-life = ZOMG, YOU HATE WOMYN YOU COCK MAN OPPRESSOR!
Like all other issues, the left doesn't care to listen to reason, facts, or why conservatives believe what they believe. The tactic on the left is to always bully, shout down, and when all else fails, call their opposition racist, sexist, bigot, homophobes. Or some other "phobe" that's currently in fashion. When the truth is much different. People who are against abortion oppose abortion because abortion always results in a dead baby. Regardless of how the baby was conceived. Leftists will contort themselves into philosophical pretzels so they never have to actually defend the murder of unborn humans.
But I digress. After KellyAnne Conway spoke, MIKE F'N PENCE took the stage. As in the Vice President. As in the first Vice President to ever speak at the Right to Life March. Ever. It's historic.
I'm deeply humbled to stand before you today. Deeply humbled to be first VP to ever have the privilege to attend this historic gathering.
Today in Washington DC is our side. Have any laws changed? No. Will women continue buying into Planned Parenthood's lofty talking points and butcher their unborn children? Yes. But like all movements of social change, time is needed to change hearts and minds and shift the culture. We have a long way to go, but what Conway and Pence did today is huge. Members of our executive branch both acknowledged and spoke up for the unborn. It's monumental. So while no policy today will change, the cultural shift is beginning.
Ours is a culture of life. The left is a culture of hatred and death.
