Kelsea Ballerini wants ever so badly to be Maren Morris. The difference is as insufferable as a woke douchecanoe Maren Morris is, her music isn't terrible. Girl is a solid album. Everything Kelsea puts out su-diddly-ucks. She's like if ChatCPT was asked to create a generic popstar for a lazy record label. And since everything about her is contrived, it's no shock she would signal her virtues on stage at the CMT Awards.

To be clear to my colleagues saying "country music has gone woke," keep in mind that CMT is owned by MTV Networks. The awards are the NYC-based MTV's idea of what a country music award show is. Hence an NYC tweeter for MTV is super excited for drag queens.

Note: Nashville, the country music capital, passed a law to counter leftists' attempts to sexualize children by exposing them to adult drag shows. It's what the media blames for a transgender killer (he/him) shooting up a school and killing Christian children.

That was another thing. After that same killer (he/him) chose he/his target based on the LACK OF SECURITY AT THE SCHOOL, Ballerini felt a lecture on guns was necessary. Not school safety, but guns.

Meh.

I think I'm tapped out on outrage unless it's directed at politicians who either refuse to take school safety seriously or have made exploiting children part of their platform. A corporate popstar acting like a hardo so that mainstream audiences will pay attention to her doesn't rise to that level.
