Kentucky Derby winner Rich Strike was an 80-1 long shot that was a last-minute addition to the race. It was the second-largest long-shot victory in the 148-year history of the fastest two minutes in sports. Everyone was happy. It was a feel-good moment. So, of course, the left had to dig up old tweets. No, not old tweets from the horse. From the horse's trainer, Eric Reed.

He was accused, or someone named "Eric Reed" was accused, of tweeting something mean about Vice President Kamala Harris. Reed was challenged on the alleged tweet today on ESPN.

“Haven’t been told about it. I don’t know what’s going on out there. I’m more concerned with Richie and what’s going on with us, and this great horse, and how much he’s helping everybody. So, there’s haters out there, and that’s about how I’m gonna leave something like that.”

Not a denial. Not an admission, either. "Eric Reed" has since switched his Twitter account to private. The Twitter profile refers to Eric Reed as “Owner of Mercury Equine Center,” a “horse trainer,” and a “Reagan conservative.” You'll be happy to know HuffPo is on the case.

The tweet was in response to Sebastian Gorka asking what Kamala Harris' qualifications are. "Eric Reed" responded to a rumor he heard that she is good on her knees. "On your knees" is a common reference to oral sex, where a woman is on her knees performing the sexual act. Critics say Kamala Harris got her start in politics by having a sexual affair with former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown. Former San Francisco Mayor Willie Brown is one of those critics.

As of this writing, neither Reed nor the horse has been canceled from the 2022 Preakness Stakes. I anticipate leftists will do everything they can to make that happen.
